June 6, 2026 - Rivers Cleanup
Join us on Saturday June 6, 2026 as we partner with Michigan Waterways Stewards for a special community event outside of Potter Park Zoo.
Michigan Waterways Stewards will begin the day with a community-wide cleanup, and FLRT will be exhibiting amongst other local conservation, environmental, and civic organizations.
On this day, MSW expects to be able to declare our Capital City’s rivers, riverside parks, and adjoining stretches of the Lansing River Trail officially cleared and cleaned. This then sets the stage for greater focus on parks and river trail beautification efforts.
Come join us, whether as an individual, family, or company team-building event, and be part of this community-wide celebration!
